Nylon (PA) - Heated bed temperature - 25 - 50 ˚C
Nylon (Polyamide) is a popular synthetic polymer that is primarily used for industrial applications due to its specific properties. It is very strong and mechanically durable, has a high softening temperature, and is slightly flexible.
Its different variants may differ diametrically in some basic properties such as material creep.
Its disadvantage is that it is a highly hygroscopic material and thus readily absorbs moisture from the environment, which must be taken into account when storing it and possibly using a filament dryer.
For printing more complex shapes it is necessary to use a special printing surface such as garolite(g10,g11) or special adhesives designed for this material. Commonly used adhesives and printing surfaces are usually not sufficient.
