The Filament ReFill PLA CF
This ReFill version of the special PLA filament is reinforced with 3% carbon fibres. This combines the easy printability of classic PLA (also suitable for beginners) with higher mechanical strength and stiffness. The matte surface with a fine carbon texture ensures an attractive appearance and helps to hide layers. The filament is suitable for functional prototypes, tools, design and technical parts where higher resistance to deformation is required.
Eco-Friendly ReFill Solution
The ReFill filament is supplied wound on an eco-friendly cardboard core without a plastic spool, which significantly reduces plastic waste. You have several options for using it:
- Original reusable Bambu Lab spool: If you already own one, you can simply mount the ReFill filament and use it.
- Reusable Spectrum ReFill Spool: You can use a compatible spool directly from the manufacturer Spectrum.
- Your own printed spool: If you don't have either of the mentioned spools, you can download STL files for free from the manufacturer's website and print your own reusable spool.
Key Properties
- Increased stiffness and resistance due to the 3% carbon fibre content.
- Matte surface with carbon texture for a professional look.
- Easy printability with standard settings for PLA.
- Eco-friendly ReFill packaging without a plastic spool.
- Compatible with reusable spools (Bambu Lab, Spectrum ReFill Spool, printed).
- It is recommended to use a hardened nozzle (e.g., steel or ruby) for printing due to the abrasiveness of the carbon fibres.
- An enclosed chamber is not necessary.
Recommended Use
- Functional parts and prototypes
- Initial production of industrial designs
- Tools and technical components
- Design and interior elements

AMS Compatibility
The manufacturer states compatibility of this ReFill filament (on a compatible spool) with the Bambu Lab AMS system.
Warning: Long-term use of third-party abrasive filaments in the AMS may theoretically lead to increased wear. Use is at the user's discretion. Compatibility with AMS Lite is not stated by the manufacturer.
Advantages Over Standard PLA
- Higher mechanical strength and stiffness: Suitable for parts resisting mechanical stress.
- Matte surface and aesthetics: Professional look with less visible layers.
- Easy processing: Printable on standard FDM printers, also suitable for less experienced users.
Why Choose The Filament ReFill PLA CF?
The Filament ReFill PLA CF is a practical and eco-friendly choice for users looking for a combination of easy printability, higher stiffness (HDT 55 °C), and an attractive matte surface for both functional and design applications.
