Super Lube Synthetic Lubricant with PTFE 85 g
Super Lube Synthetic Lubricant with PTFE 85 g
Super Lube 85 g is a PTFE grease for maintaining 3D printers and other precision mechanisms. It makes the most sense where you want longer service life, precise application from a tube and a lubricant that stays in place better than thin oil. For us, this is the most practical option for regular maintenance of moving printer parts. More

Why it makes sense
- PTFE grease for smoother movement and lower wear
- 85 g tube that is easy to dose without unnecessary waste
- stays in place better than oil
- water-resistant formula according to the manufacturer
- wide temperature range for normal workshop and printer use
Where it fits best
Super Lube 85 g works best where grease makes sense and you want a longer service interval.
Typical use:
- linear guides
- guide mechanisms
- selected mechanical parts of 3D printers where this type of lubricant is recommended by the manufacturer
- other stressed metal moving parts outside areas where the lubricant could trap dirt or contaminate nearby surfaces
When to choose another variant
Not every lubrication job is the same. If you know what you are lubricating, you can choose better.
- If you want to treat a larger area quickly, the Super Lube 180 ml / 170 g spray makes more sense.
- If you need very precise application in a small or hard-to-reach spot, an oil applicator is usually the better choice.
- If you do not want a classic lubricant film and prefer a drier surface, the Super Lube DRI FILM 330 ml is the better fit.
How to apply
- First clean the surface from old lubricant, dust and dirt.
- Apply only a small amount where it is actually needed.
- Move the part several times after application so the lubricant spreads evenly.
- Wipe off any excess. More does not automatically mean better.
Where not to use it
This grease is not for everything.
- the device manufacturer recommends a different type of lubricant
- you do not want a classic lubricant film
- the grease could trap dust and dirt
- there is a risk of contact with belts, electronics, filament or the print surface
What to expect
This is not magic tuning, just a solid lubricant that does its job. When used in the right place, it gives you quieter motion, lower friction and less unnecessary wear. It also gives you more control over application than a spray.
Other Super Lube variants
- Super Lube 180 ml / 170 g, if you want fast and even spray application
- Super Lube DRI FILM 330 ml, if you want a dry layer instead of a classic lubricant film
Technical parameters
- package: 85 g tube

FAQ
Where is Super Lube 85 g useful on a 3D printer?
Mainly on moving mechanical parts where you want longer lubricant life and precise application from a tube.
Is a tube, spray or oil better?
A tube is best where you want control and longer life. A spray is faster for larger areas. Oil works better for small and hard-to-reach places.
Should I apply more so it lasts longer?
No. It is better to apply a smaller amount correctly and wipe away the excess.
Is it only suitable for 3D printers?
No. You can also use it on other precision mechanisms and common metal moving parts if grease makes sense there.
