Spectrum FlameGuard PLA represents a new generation of materials for 3D printing, developed based on the award-winning Floreon® Therma-Tech PLA formula. This filament is designed to meet the strictest fire safety requirements (UL 94 V0 certification – self-extinguishing), while maintaining mechanical properties comparable to traditional flame-retardant ABS (ABS FR). A key advantage is its ecological profile – it is halogen-free, which facilitates recycling, and its carbon footprint is up to 7 times lower than that of ABS FR. It thus offers a unique combination of safety, durability, and environmental consideration.

Thanks to its PLA base, the material retains the relatively easy printability typical of PLA filaments, making it accessible to a wide range of users. Recommendations for Printing

• Although it has a PLA base, adhering to the manufacturer's recommendations for printing parameters is crucial to achieve optimal properties and flame retardancy.

Use a clean and degreased print bed to ensure good adhesion. If necessary, adhesives suitable for PLA can be used.

• Store filament in a dry place, ideally in a sealed container with a moisture absorber, at a temperature of 15-25°C.
