Filament Professional Lab PETG 1.75 mm 1 kg

For printers who encounter the limits of PLA material but want to avoid the demanding printing with ABS, PETG offers a solution. Professional Lab PETG is designed as a material for creating mechanically resistant and functional parts. It combines toughness, higher temperature and chemical resistance with printing simplicity that is close to PLA.

Unlike the more brittle PLA, PETG offers flexibility and impact resistance. Thanks to low shrinkage and layer adhesion, printing large and complex models is predictable and does not require an enclosed printing chamber. This makes it a choice for printing parts for printers, workshop organisers, electronics covers and other technical components that must withstand load.

Mechanical and Temperature Resistance

The properties of this material make it suitable for real-world use, not just for display models.

  • Strength and Toughness: The material is suitable for parts exposed to mechanical stress and impacts due to its impact toughness and flexibility.
  • Temperature Resistance: Prints retain their shape and strength up to approximately 75–85 °C, which is more than standard PLA.
  • Chemical Stability: The material is resistant to oils, common acids and bases, which expands its use in workshop and outdoor environments.
  • Increased Durability: Additives slow down oxidation, contributing to longer colour life and overall print durability.

Reliability and Simplicity of Printing

Professional Lab PETG is optimised for trouble-free printing with consistent results.

  • High Precision: The filament diameter is maintained within a tolerance of ±0.02 mm, ensuring smooth passage through the extruder and precise material dosing.
  • Low Shrinkage and Stability: The material shows minimal tendency to warping, making printing on open printers easier.
  • Strong Layer Adhesion: Individual layers bond firmly, leading to strong and cohesive prints in all axes.
  • Glossy and Smooth Surface: Prints have a naturally glossy surface that hides layering.

Recommendations for Achieving Results

To make the most of this material's potential, pay attention to the following points.

  • Importance of Drying: PETG absorbs atmospheric moisture. To prevent issues such as stringing or reduced strength, we recommend drying the filament before printing (70–85 °C for 4–8 hours).
  • Compatibility with AMS Lite: The spool has a central hole with a diameter of 75 mm. For trouble-free use in the Bambu Lab AMS Lite system, the manufacturer recommends printing an adapter.

Recommended Printing Parameters

  • Printing Temperature: 220–250 °C
  • Bed Temperature: 70–90 °C
  • Printing Speed: 30–70 mm/s
  • Cooling: Low to medium (0–70%), for maximum part strength it is better to reduce cooling.

Note: The stated values are recommended and may vary depending on the specific printer and conditions. It is always good to start with these values and adjust them if necessary to achieve optimal results.

Technical Specifications
