Phaetus Dragonfly BMO/BMS black silicone sock

By installing a silicone sock, you will insulate the heater block of the hotend, which will increase its heating efficiency and improve the temperature stability of the heater block. You will also ensure a reduction in heat radiation to the surroundings, which can affect the quality of the print itself or reduce the lifetime of any 3D printed hotend parts. Also, the silicone sleeves protect the hotend from damage (scratches), keeping it from sticking to the plastic material and requiring annoying and tedious cleaning. 

Phaetus's silicone socks are made of high quality heat resistant silicone and can therefore be used up to 280°C.

Please note

When printing at nozzle temperatures higher than 280°C, the silicone sleeve must be removed from the heated block after it has cooled down.
