Fiberlogy Nylon (PA12) black 0,75 kg

Fiberlogy Nylon (PA12) black 0,75 kg

Thanks to its resistance to high temperatures, alcohol and chemicals, Nylon is particularly useful for mechanical and technical applications. It is extremely durable, strong and unbreakable. It is easily machined with tools designed for metal processing and it is also easily painted, which makes it even more versatile and functional.
It is incredibly flexible – it expands by 50% before it breaks. However, it is not resistant to concentrated alkalis and acids.
As the only nylon variant, it has also proven itself in printing functional, mechanically stressed 3D printer parts due to PA12's low material creep. More

Parameters of filament Fiberlogy Nylon PA12

Filament PA12 (nylon 12, semi-crystalline polyamide) from reliable Polish manufacturer Fiberlogy is a variant of nylon, which has proven to be the only variant for printing mechanically stressed parts, including 3D printer parts. It stands out for its high strength, durability, resistance to high temperatures, good chemical resistance and flexibility without disturbing the structure.

It is a material with a wide range of applications, popular in industry and gaining a strong foothold in 3D printing, including FDM.

The material is recommended to be printed only by experienced printers and in a heated chamber. For printing more complex shapes it is recommended to use special printing surfaces such as garolite(g10,g11) or special adhesives designed specifically for nylon. Commonly used adhesives and printing surfaces are usually not sufficient.

Its disadvantage is that it is a highly hygroscopic material, so it easily absorbs moisture from the environment, which must be taken into account when storing it and possibly using a filament dryer after prolonged exposure to air.

The filament is wound on a spool, vacuum packed with a moisture absorber
