PLA Wood Filament 1.75 mm with Wood Additive

A printing filament combining classic PLA with finely ground wood offers a unique opportunity to print models with an authentic wood-like appearance. Thanks to the content of real wood particles, prints achieve a matte surface with a visible texture reminiscent of real wood. This material is ideal for decorative items, architectural models, or artistic objects.

Recommended Print Settings

• Nozzle temperature: 190-220 °C
• Bed temperature: 45-60 °C
• Print speed: 30-60 mm/s
• Layer height: 0.1-0.3 mm
• Retraction: 4-6 mm
• Cooling: 50-100%
• Recommended nozzle diameter: ≥ 0.4 mm

Practical Recommendations

• For optimal results, use a nozzle with a diameter of at least 0.4 mm.

• The material can be abrasive – we recommend using durable nozzles.

• Store in a dry place, ideally in an airtight package with silica gel or in a Polymaker PolyDryer™ Box.

• Before printing, we recommend drying the material, for example using a Polymaker PolyDryer™ filament dryer.

• After printing, models can be sanded with standard sandpaper.
