Enable your hotend to operate at higher temperatures, with higher accuracy, with simple installation using the PT100 sensor and this amplifier board. If you want to experiment with printing high temperature materials, get more accurate temperature readings and have a much more robust temperature sensor, then the PT100 is the ideal choice.

This board allows you to connect our PT100 temperature sensor to any analog input pin of the 3D printer control board. It amplifies the signal from the PT100 sensor to a voltage level that the printer control board can easily and accurately read.

Installation

PT100 board requires, connection to a 5V power source. Current requirements are very small, so you can select any 5V pin on your control board.

The output signal pin then needs to be connected to a free analog input of the control board. Look at the wiring diagram of your control board and find the pin that is not used and starts with a capital letter "A". These are usually available on expansion or auxiliary heads, typically marked AUX or EXP.

Then edit your firmware (e.g. in the pins.h file in Marline) and set the correct input pin value and set the sensor type to PT100 (in Marline set the temperature sensor value to 20).
