Slim compact tri-axial accelerometer with low power consumption.

Acceleration up to ±16 g for high resolution (13-bit) measurements.

Data is in 16-bit dual-complement format and can be accessed via digital SPI (3- or 4-wire) or I2C interface.

It measures static gravitational acceleration and can also measure dynamic acceleration due to motion or impact velocity. It has high resolution (4 mg/LSB) and can measure approximately 0.25° of change in pitch angle.

When using an accelerometer with a digital output, such as the ADXL345, analog-to-digital conversion is not required.
