PLA+ WOODJet - Natural

WOODJet Natural is a premium filament from the Czech manufacturer Filament PM, which combines modified PLA+ with natural wood particles. Thanks to its content of 20% wood particles, it creates prints with an authentic wood appearance and scent. The material excels with its low printing temperature of 195°C and excellent layer adhesion, making it ideal for printing larger models. Prints can be easily sanded and surface-treated similarly to real wood, which is particularly appreciated by model makers and creators of decorative objects.

Printing Tips

• To achieve different shades, you can experiment with nozzle temperature
• We recommend using a nozzle with a diameter of 0.4mm or larger
• After printing, surface finishing by sanding is possible, similar to real wood

Recommended Storage

• Due to the wood particle content, the material is more sensitive to moisture
• For storage, an airtight box with desiccant is ideal, protecting the filament from moisture and dust
• Regularly check the condition of the desiccant in the box

Drying

• For optimal printing results, we recommend using a filament dryer
• The dryer actively maintains constant humidity during printing
• If the material becomes moist, dry it at a temperature of 45-50°C for 4-6 hours

Proper storage in a box or active drying in a dryer significantly extends the material's lifespan and ensures consistent print quality, which is important for WoodJet due to its wood particle content.

Packaging

The filament is wound on a new generation spool. This type of spool is designed to ensure easier handling and storage of the filament. The spool is protected by a double packaging that provides protection against UV radiation and moisture, helping to keep the filament in optimal condition for printing.
