PM filament PLA+

PLA+, or enhanced polylactic acid, is an advanced material for 3D printing that offers better printing properties compared to standard PLA. This material is ideal for users seeking higher quality and flexibility in printing.

PLA+ is available in various editions, such as Skin edition, Army edition, classic Black&White, modern Pastel edition, summer Summer edition, or recycled RePLA+.

Main advantages of PLA+

  • Lower printing temperature: PLA+ allows printing at a lower temperature of 195 °C, which is advantageous for bridging and overhang printing.
  • Higher layer adhesion and impact toughness: Printed objects are more flexible and resistant to mechanical stress.
  • Higher viscosity: The material clogs less frequently in the nozzle, ensuring smoother printing.
  • Better tolerance for insufficient cooling: Due to lower printing temperatures and higher viscosity, PLA+ is also suitable for printing in warm environments.
  • Suitability for 3D pens: Lower printing temperatures make PLA+ an ideal material for use in 3D pens.

Uses of PLA+

PLA+ is suitable for printing models with low mechanical stress, such as:

Recommendations for use

  • Nozzle temperature: 190–210 °C
  • Bed temperature: 60 °C
